    Spring Parade of Homes

    Saturday, May 19th

    The Spring Parade of Homes will have over 60 newly constructed homes open to tour for free (excluding any Feature Home as funds raised in this home benefit the Sioux Empire Home Builders Care Foundation).

    All Parade homes are open Sat. & Sun. from 1-5pm and Mon. from 5:30-8:30pm.

    See the latest trends and products in new homes and even visit with builders & suppliers. Maps, listing of homes and more event information can be found online at www.hbasiouxempire.com. Event program is Home Ideas Magazine (find at Gas Stops, Hy-Vees & Lewis Drugs).

    Hershey Track Meet

    Sunday, May 20th

    Hershey Foods Corporation and Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation will sponsor a local Hershey Track and Field Meet for girls and boys ages 9 through 14, and registration is free. Each participant may choose two running events and one field event, or two field events and one running event. Local place winners may qualify for the state meet, held Saturday, June 23, in Pierre. No starting blocks are used and no shoes designed for spikes can be used. Children will compete in the group determined by their age as of December 31, 2011.
