Built in 1913, the Orpheum Theater is the oldest existing theater in Sioux Falls. The Orpheum Theater Center features three distinct (rentable) spaces; The 686-seat Historic Orpheum Theater; the old “Rainbow Bar” that now houses the Anne Zabel Studio Theater, with room for up to 450 people; and a classroom space that accommodates 75-100 people. Front and back “Link” structures join the buildings together.
The Orpheum Theater Center hosts plays, concerts, dance, and other forms of entertainment throughout the year. It also is the perfect venue for weddings, meetings, banquets, conferences, trade shows, and so much more. Its unique design and outstanding acoustics help formulate an entertainment experience like few others.
