Ribfest

In its fifteen year, the Argus Leader RibFest has become one of the region’s largest festivals. “South Dakota’s Biggest Backyard BBQ” attracted close to 45,000 festival goers last year. Ribfest has hosted various acts in the past including Kory and the Fireflies and the Gin Blossoms. Eight world-famous barbeque vendors are set to compete in the Arena parking lot again this year. The “ribbers” will be vying for cash prizes and the “bragging rights”.

Milt Simons Baseball Tournament
Friday, June 8th
The Milt Simons Tournament is scheduled for 16 teams in a four-pool championship format. Teams may play from 4 to 6 games. All games are 7 innings with no time limit.

Early Bird Diamond Rat Baseball Tournament
Friday, June 8th
Expanding upon the popular June Diamond Rat, in 2012, a early version will be offered. Featuring four Divisions will be offered. No big barrel bats are allowed. Games are six innings in length with age specific rules for pitching distances, bases, pitch counts, and game length. All games will be held at the Pasley Baseball Complex with each field featuring an astro-turf pitching mound.
